Futurlogics is a Thinking System and a Method of Research using the minds reaction to the future.
Preaching vs Teaching explained:
Preaching's end goal is to bring the hearer to a place where they can be further taught.
Teaching's end goal is to bring the student mind to the place where the teacher is.
Preliminary requirements needed before you teach:
Not many will drill down to the nitty gritty details as this take time commitments.
But prepare to go to the details.
Most
want real and observable facts presented to them to see if it is
beyond "sky blue" imagination.
(Signs are as in the biblical "signs of the times" or in todays futurist terms trends, stats, data, math, physical manifestations.
Brainstorm, barnraise, generate new ideas, all to get a variety of perspectives and notions.
Theories though nice do not get things in to action.

Prepare alternate preparations and plans
There is an increased capacity to handle abstract thoughts.
Principle based thought (synergy vs chaos of denial)
Intelligence of the mind
The success of the future businesses will be in the ability to out think their competition.
Friends who share your vision will be of great value and support with both for and against you views.
Objectivity is the mission here.
General Principles of Teaching Outlined:
Much could be gained through teaching the general properties and characteristics of the future; afterward, we may be in a better position to teach the more difficult aspects of the future. teach in the most general of terms. Use what they already know, to expand their consciousness and awareness realize the difficulty of unlearning. the generalist or futurist must supported and strengthened until they can be on their own and return the favor.
Teach them to Discern the origin of any idea, notion, or feeling is as the key to accurate prediction. Teach to Tracing each idea to the mode in which we are thinking will develop this ability.
Teach thorough understanding of the ways people think about the future and how it can help us avoid the pitfalls inherent in undertaking the prediction of the future.
Teach explain in their spare moments in a relaxed state.
Use what they already know of the future you wish to communicate.
Talk about their feelings of future events and capitalize upon them.
Get them to guess where it is non-committal and safe as a brainstorm session.
Use metaphor, simile and minimal specifics.
Don't criticize (ridicule) their efforts ever.
Trace back to the origin of their insight notions intuitions their first reactions.
Get them in a good mood after they have eaten etc.
Be humble and respective of their position and work area.
See the overall mission of the organization and it's function.
Respect new opinions and be merciful to stupid ideas as they are often “birth pang” of the final product.
Have ready all data and facts and origin of ideas never take credit of other ideas and contributions.
Believe in the potential of your students and realize you are also a student to the future forever.
Be hopeful always past failures are learning events not victimizations.
Make forward-thinking a happy time.
Teach the art of productive assumption.
FORWARD THINKING
The forward-thinking mind should be the goal of all persons who wish to develop their entire mind. As paradoxical as it is, the conscious, logical process is a block to prediction unless the system of Futurlogics is used. Since the future is often a new and different thing, the best way to face it is through the intuitive faculties we possess.
Ultimately the future must be internalized and a matter of the self teaching principle .

Put internal politic above external data. (prejudice, personal bias, modal affect perception)
Underestimate new competition and fringe players. (volume of evidence over truth)
Plan based upon a single scenario only. (simplicity is the soul of wit only with the sure word of prophecy)
Let fake numbers trump real insights. (math voodoo overpowers common sense)
Focus exclusively on positive information; and punish those who are negative. (utopian denial of reality)
Ridicule Ridicule Ridicule. (subdue the expression of creativity)
Value the probability of the forecasts by the charisma of the person delivering them. (Beware of Doctors pretending to be one of the common folk)
Compare the current moment to the 1980's. (sees only the natural future or stuck in the past)
Wait for complete data and information before concluding, deciding acting. (artificial future--not!)
Rely on Business and Technology, ignore culture, society and philosophy. (synthetic future)
Say your looking at 20 years out but study today only. (natural future)
Take all of your sources from one country, preferably your own. (heavy personal bias)
Don't Waste Time Thinking About Individuals And Small Groups. (influence of the collective)
Take It Personally! Make Sure Your Ego Is The Star Of All Visions Of The Future. (project your emotions on the future)
Never Make Comparisons To History! Those Jerks Didn't Even Have Computers. (new is always better than the old?)
Don't Invite Young People, Poor People, Artist, or Any Diverse Opinions To The Table. (have a single perspective only)
Start With The Conclusions in Mind and Push All Information Towards Them. (project your paradigm upon the imagination to form a mode)
Keep the Findings of the Study Secret--Don't Try to Make the Findings Available Throughout the Organization . (good idea?)
Assume the Future Generations Will Share Your Values, Biases, Superstitions, and Desires. (let cultural bias rein supreme)
Confuse Sexy With Important. (advertising works)
Never Suggest the Whole Model May Be Changing. (or is changing (save the baby from the bath water))
Communicate the Future in the Most Abstract, Jargony, Ignorable Language. (speak to the understanding instead of speaking to the flesh don't be a demagogue )
Take it Personally When Your Colleagues Don't Immediately Believe Your Vision of the Future. ( learn what others see in the future first before you express your views. covey habit 5 on listen first)
Make Sure This Kind of Analysis is a Once Every Decade Event . (never internalize the process)
